At first, the sofa was intended as nothing more than a commissioned piece with symbolic design. The artisans of Twilight Curves Workshop crafted it with motifs of the vine and the skull. The vine was meant to embody prosperity, the skull — remembrance of ancestors. No one expected that this furniture would reveal magical properties.

Each sofa contained a small piece of true vine taken from the estate of the clan’s founder, Albert von Steffanik. Albert was known as a defender of equal rights for vampires across the world of Sayloronia. His struggle earned him allies, but also powerful enemies. When dark forces sought to root themselves in this world, Albert’s beloved wife and children were murdered for his convictions.

Upon the very place where their blood touched the earth, a vine grew — one imbued with unusual, hidden properties. It became a living emblem of the clan, a reminder of sacrifice and resistance.

When the first sofa was delivered to the household and its master sat down upon the velvet cushions, the unexpected occurred. The voices of ancestors began to whisper in his mind. They intertwined, echoing through his thoughts, weaving the weight of centuries into his very being. At first, this frightened everyone. But later, through tests and verification by the Guild of Mages and Sorcerers, the sofa was declared safe. Its enchantments were no curse but a gift: a way to hear the voices of the past and preserve the living bond with history.

Thus, what began as a piece of furniture became a witness to the clan’s story. The Vampshire Clan Sofa became a place where decisions were made that shaped the fate of the city — and a symbol that even in tragedy, roots can grow that bring strength and renewal.

Спершу софа була задумана як звичайне замовлення з елементами символіки. Майстри Twilight Curves Workshop виготовили її за дизайном, що поєднував виноградну лозу та череп. Лоза мала уособлювати добробут, а череп — пам’ять про предків. Ніхто навіть не здогадувався, що цей предмет інтер’єру стане магічним.

Річ у тім, що до кожної софи вживляли маленький шматочок справжньої виноградної лози з маєтку засновника клану, Альберта фон Штеффаніка. Альберт був відомий як захисник рівних прав для вампірів у світі Сейларонії. Його боротьба принесла йому не лише прихильників, а й ворогів. Коли темні сили спробували пустити своє коріння в цей світ, дружину та дітей Альберта жорстоко вбили через його переконання.

На місці їхньої загибелі проріс виноград — особливий, наділений незвичайними властивостями. І саме його лоза стала частиною символіки клану.

Коли перша софа була доставлена в дім і господар сів на м’які подушки, сталося щось несподіване. Голоси предків заговорили в його голові. Вони перепліталися, нашіптуючи спогади та думки, створюючи відчуття тягаря століть. Спершу це налякало всіх. Але згодом, завдяки перевіркам магістрів з Гільдії магів та чарівників, софу визнали безпечною. Її магічні властивості виявилися не прокляттям, а даром: вона дозволяла чути відлуння поколінь і зберігати живий зв’язок із минулим.

Так звичайний предмет інтер’єру перетворився на свідка історії клану. Софа клану Вампширу стала місцем, де приймалися рішення, що впливали на долю міста, і символом того, що навіть трагедія може дати коріння для сили та відродження.
